What a GLP-1 weight-loss program includes

A GLP-1 program is follow-up, titration, supplies, and clinical judgment, not a one-time vial. How telehealth works and what Beema's model includes.

A GLP-1 program is follow-up, not a one-time vial

The shot is the center of the plan, not the whole plan. Someone has to review you, change the dose, help when you are nauseated, handle refills, and talk with you at week six. If a clinic only ships a vial, that is a product. If they stay with you through titration and maintenance, that is a program. Beema's live program details and prices are on the medical weight-loss page. This article is the checklist you can use on any clinic, including ours.

This article is educational. It is not Beema's conversion landing page. That page lives at /weight-loss and is titled around provider-guided GLP-1 care. Here the H1 is about program parts so you can audit any clinic, including ours.

Intake is clinical work, not a quiz for ads

A real intake asks about pancreatitis, gallbladder disease, thyroid cancer family history, pregnancy, other medicines, and prior incretin use. It is not a three-question BMI toy. Beema's intake is a questionnaire reviewed by a licensed provider. You cannot chat inside it; questions after payment go through the care team, and you can email support before you pay.

PHI from that questionnaire belongs in the clinical system, not in an ad pixel. Completing intake never guarantees a prescription.

Titration is where programs earn their keep

Incretin labels increase doses slowly to limit gastrointestinal effects. A program watches whether you can eat enough protein, whether you are dehydrated, and whether a pause is wiser than a jump. Pooled STEP analyses showed nausea in a large minority of people on semaglutide 2.4 mg. Pretending everyone 'just pushes through' is not care.

If you already take a GLP-1 elsewhere, a responsible program asks for your current dose instead of restarting at the bottom by default. Final dosing is still the clinician's.

Maintenance is part of the brochure, or it should be

STEP 4 switched some people from semaglutide to placebo and watched weight return. SURMOUNT-4 showed a similar pattern when tirzepatide was withdrawn. A program that only celebrates the first eight weeks is incomplete. Ask how long follow-up lasts and what happens if you want to stop.

How Beema's cash-pay loop is shaped today

Beema Health connects adults in all 50 US states with independently licensed providers. Service is USA only. If treatment is prescribed, compounded semaglutide or compounded tirzepatide may be used when legally available and clinically appropriate. Compounded semaglutide is not FDA-approved and is considered only when legally available and clinically appropriate. Compounded tirzepatide is not FDA-approved and is considered only when legally available and clinically appropriate. Current monthly and multi-month cash-pay figures live on the compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide pages, including a tirzepatide new-patient starter pack path and a semaglutide first-month promo on a three-month plan. This educational article will not invent branded cash prices Beema does not charge.

Included supplies and expedited shipping are part of the listed rate. There is no membership fee stacked on top. Promo codes are one-time and have plan-length rules explained on those pages.

A checklist you can take to any clinic

Who is the licensed prescriber, and in which state are they licensed? Which pharmacy fills? What is the all-in cash price? What is not included? How do you reach someone if you vomit for two days? What is the policy if you are not a candidate? If answers are vague, keep shopping. Beema's live semaglutide and tirzepatide pages exist to make price and process explicit. Start there when you want the commercial details, not here.

  • Clear compounding vs FDA-approved status

Frequently asked questions

What is a GLP-1 weight-loss program?
It is ongoing medical care built around an incretin prescription: intake, clinician review, dose changes, side-effect management, refill coordination, and usually nutrition guidance. It is not a single shipped vial with no follow-up. Stopping the medicine without a plan often brings weight back, which STEP 4 and SURMOUNT-4 illustrated for semaglutide and tirzepatide.
How is a program different from buying a peptide?
A program uses a licensed provider and a licensed pharmacy. Research-chemical shops skip both. GLP-1 medicines for weight management are prescription drugs. Beema will not help you check out a research peptide.
What does Beema's program include if I am prescribed treatment?
Listed cash-pay rates are all-inclusive of provider care, medication, supplies such as syringes and alcohol pads, and expedited shipping. There is no separate platform membership fee. Dose changes within the same compounded medicine do not change the monthly price. Compounded products are not FDA-approved. A prescription is never guaranteed.
Do I have to stay on a GLP-1 forever?
Obesity is often chronic. Maintenance trials show regain when active drug is withdrawn. Whether you continue, pause, or switch is a clinical decision. A program should discuss that before you start, not after your last pen.
Is this the same as Beema's /weight-loss page?
No. The live /weight-loss page is the commercial overview of Beema's offering. This article explains what any responsible GLP-1 program should contain so you can evaluate telehealth clinics, including Beema, with a checklist.
Can I start a GLP-1 weight-loss program online?
Yes. Many US adults can start entirely online. Beema serves all 50 states that way, and only the USA. You complete intake from home. A licensed provider reviews your history. If treatment is prescribed, the program includes follow-up, medication when appropriate, supplies, and shipping. Completing intake never guarantees a prescription. Beema will not help you check out a research peptide.
